I fell in love with clay whilst studying at Bath Academy of Art and then specialized in ceramics during my MA in Cardiff. After designing for English, Irish and American companies and living internationally I’ve settled back in Ireland.

My ceramics are inspired by my love of the seascapes, waves, rocks and pebbles found on the Northern Irish coastline where I spent many wonderful childhood summers . Shapes, edges and patterns reflect these influences and each, handmade piece is unique using a variety of techniques.

I’ve combined my love of food and cooking from all over the world to create a range of bowls , platters and dishes in classic blue and white and grey and white that are ideal for everyday use as well as relaxed meals and entertaining with family and friends. All items have an interior glaze , are dishwasher safe and carry my marker’s mark-LD Lynne Dyson

Living in County Antrim , Northern Ireland so close to the sea and my inspiration, I named my business Porcelain White from the stoneware clay that I use to make each piece which is supplied by my friends at the world renowned Scarva Pottery forty minutes away in Banbridge, County Down. My product range is currently stocked at ‘A Broader Picture'‘ located on the seafront in Portstewart on the Northern Irish coast and at The Designerie, Bushmills.

I hope that you may find these pieces give you as much pleasure as I have had in making them and are a welcome addition at your table.
